Goodwill fashion show raises $250K for new Honolulu career and learning center

The seventh annual Goodwill Goes GLAM! fashion show raised more than $250,000 for the nonprofit’s new Honolulu career and learning center that will be constructed at Goodwill’s existing store and donation center on Beretania Street.

Goodwill Industries of Hawaii is planning an $11 million redevelopment of its Honolulu property, which includes expanding the current retail store and donation area and adding a job development and training center to the second floor.

The nonprofit said construction will take about nine months, which it expects to start in October.
