Honolulu, Hawaii (December 16, 2013) — In celebration of the holiday season, L&L Hawaiian Barbecue and the Filipino Jaycees will be hosting a Christmas party for Goodwill’s participants with developmental disabilities for the 14th consecutive year. These participants are from Goodwill’s Waiver program, which aim to help those with cognitive and physical disabilities to become self-reliant and independent in the community.
The Christmas party will be held on Saturday, December 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Goodwill Industries of Hawaii’s Kilihau facility.
Goodwill truly appreciates the long-standing generosity and support from the Filipino Jaycees and L&L Hawaiian Barbecue.
The program participants will celebrate the holiday season, enjoying social and recreational activities. Lunch will be provided by L&L Hawaiian Barbecue and activities will be coordinated by the Filipino Jaycees. Some activities include dancing, games and grab bags. Santa Claus will also be on-site to greet and deliver gifts to each participant. There are about 100 attendees that participate in this Christmas party every year.
